So Great A Salvation
Hebrews
2:1-3-
1:
Therefore we ought to give the
more earnest heed to the things
which we have heard, lest at any
time we should let them slip.
2: For if
the word spoken by angels was
stedfast, and every
transgression and disobedience
received a just recompence of
reward;
3: How
shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which
at the first began to be spoken
by the Lord, and was confirmed
unto us by them that heard him;
The
Christians are on the winning
side!!
Jesus
and the Christians are going
to win the last battle!!
This Great
Salvation:
It
belongs to us (Christians), we
did not have to pay for it.
Cost a
great price (Suffering of
Christ) and it cost God His
Son
It is
great in its package, when you
get Salvation…you get Father,
Son, and the Holy Spirit. (no
coming back a second time or
third time It is good the
first time.)
Great in
its benefits. Psalms 103:2-
2Bless the LORD, O my soul, and
forget not all his benefits:
Jesus
has Redeemed
us
Jesus
has Forgiven
us
Jesus has Justified us 1Therefore
being justified by faith, we
have peace with God through our
Lord Jesus Christ: (Romans 5:1)
3. Jesus
has Sanctified us- 30But
of him are ye in Christ Jesus,
who of God is made unto us
wisdom, and righteousness, and
sanctification, and redemption:
(1 Corinthians 1:30 KJV)
4: Jesus
has given us Eternal
Life-
11: And
this is the record, that God
hath given to us eternal life,
and this life is in his Son.
12: He
that hath the Son hath life; and
he that hath not the Son of God
hath not life.
13: These
things have I written unto you
that believe on the name of the
Son of God; that ye may know
that ye have eternal life, and
that ye may believe on the name
of the Son of God.
14: And
this is the confidence that we
have in him, that, if we ask any
thing according to his will, he
heareth us:
15: And if
we know that he hear us,
whatsoever we ask, we know that
we have the petitions that we
desired of him.
Great in
its Climax-Ephesians 4
Great in
its scope- 16For God so loved
the world, that he gave
his only begotten Son, that
whosoever believeth in him
should not perish, but have
everlasting life. (John 3:16 KJV)
God tasted
death for every man- 9: But we
see Jesus, who was made a little
lower than the angels for the
suffering of death, crowned with
glory and honour; that he by the
grace of God should taste death
for every man. (Hebrews 2:9)
3 Things
That God Looks At:
God
looks at the heart
God
looks at the soul
God
looks at every need you have
In this
study I learned that God looks
at 3 things that are in
important to Him. He looks at
the heart, soul, and every need
that His child has. He is also
waiting for the sinner to accept
His plan of salvation. That way,
a sinner can have this great
gift of Salvation.
The Love of God
Matthew
22:36-39-
36:Master,
which is the great
commandment in the
law?
37: Jesus said
unto him, Thou shalt
love the Lord thy God
with all thy heart,
and with all thy soul,
and with all thy
mind. 38:
This is the
first and great
commandment.
39: And the
second is like unto
it, Thou shalt love
thy neighbour as
thyself.
Matthew
25:35-40-
35: For I was
an hungred, and ye
gave me meat: I was
thirsty, and ye gave
me drink: I was a
stranger, and ye took
me in:
36: Naked, and
ye clothed me: I was
sick, and ye visited
me: I was in prison,
and ye came unto me.
37: Then shall
the righteous answer
him, saying, Lord,
when saw we thee an
hungred, and fed thee?
or thirsty, and gave
thee drink?38:
When saw we
thee a stranger, and
took thee in? or
naked, and clothed
thee?
39: Or when
saw we thee sick, or
in prison, and came
unto thee?
40: And
the King shall answer
and say unto them,
Verily I say unto you,
Inasmuch as ye have
done it unto one of
the least of these my
brethren, ye have done
it unto me
Mark 12:28-31-
28: And one of
the scribes came, and
having heard them
reasoning together,
and perceiving that he
had answered them
well, asked him, Which
is the first
commandment of all?
29: And Jesus
answered him, The
first of all the
commandments is, Hear,
O Israel The Lord our
God is one Lord:
30: And thou
shalt love the Lord
thy God with all thy
heart, and with all
thy soul, and with all
thy mind, and with all
thy strength: this is
the first
commandment. 31: And
the second is like,
namely this, Thou
shalt love thy
neighbour as thyself.
There is none other
commandment greater
than these.
Mark 12:33-
33: And to
love him with all the
heart, and with all
the understanding, and
with all the soul, and
with all the strength,
and to love his
neighbour as himself,
is more than all whole
burnt offerings and
sacrifices.
Luke 6:32-36-
32:
For if ye love
them which love you,
what thank have ye?
for sinners also love
those that love them.
33: And if ye
do good to them which
do good to you, what
thank have ye? for
sinners also do even
the same.
34: And if ye
lend to them of whom
ye hope to receive,
what thank have ye?
for sinners also lend
to sinners, to receive
as much again. 35:
But love ye
your enemies, and do
good, and lend, hoping
for nothing again; and
your reward shall be
great, and ye shall be
the children of the
Highest: for he is
kind unto the
unthankful and to the
evil.
36: Be ye
therefore merciful, as
your Father also is
merciful.
John 13:34 & 35-
34: A new
commandment I give
unto you, That ye love
one another; as I have
loved you, that ye
also love one another.
35: By this
shall all men know
that ye are my
disciples, if ye have
love one to another.
John 14:15, 21-24-
15: If ye love
me, keep my
commandments. 21:
He that hath my
commandments, and
keepeth them, he it is
that loveth me: and he
that loveth me shall
be loved of my Father,
and I will love him,
and will manifest
myself to him. 22:
Judas saith
unto him, not
Iscariot, Lord, how is
it that thou wilt
manifest thyself unto
us, and not unto the
world?
23: Jesus
answered and said unto
him, If a man love me,
he will keep my words:
and my Father will
love him, and we will
come unto him, and
make our abode with
him. 24:
He that loveth
me not keepeth not my
sayings: and the word
which ye hear is not
mine, but the Father's
which sent me.
John 15:9-11-
9: As the
Father hath loved me,
so have I loved you:
continue ye in my
love.
10: If ye keep
my commandments, ye
shall abide in my
love; even as I have
kept my Father's
commandments, and
abide in his love.
11: These
things have I spoken
unto you, that my joy
might remain in you,
and that your joy
might be full
John 15:12 & 13-
12: This is my
commandment, That ye
love one another, as I
have loved you.
13: Greater
love hath no man than
this, that a man lay
down his life for his
friends.
God's Love Part
2
John 15:17-
17: These things
I command you, that ye
love one another.
Romans 13:8-10-
8: Owe no man any
thing, but to love one
another: for he that
loveth another hath
fulfilled the law.
9:For this, Thou
shalt not commit
adultery, Thou shalt not
kill, Thou shalt not
steal, Thou shalt not
bear false witness, Thou
shalt not covet; and if
there be any other
commandment, it is
briefly comprehended in
this saying, namely,
Thou shalt love thy
neighbour as thyself.
10: Love worketh
no ill to his neighbour:
therefore love is the
fulfilling of the law.
John 21:17-
17: He saith unto
him the third time,
Simon, son of Jonas,
lovest thou me? Peter
was grieved because he
said unto him the third
time, Lovest thou me?
And he said unto him,
Lord, thou knowest all
things; thou knowest
that I love thee. Jesus
saith unto him, Feed my
sheep.
1 Corinthians 2:9-
9: But as it is
written, Eye hath not
seen, nor ear heard,
neither have entered
into the heart of man,
the things which God
hath prepared for them
that love him.
1 Corinthians 8:3- 3:But
if any man love God, the
same is known of him.
1 Corinthians 16:14-
14: Let all your
things be done with
charity.
Galatians 5:13 & 14-
13: For,
brethren, ye have been
called unto liberty;
only use not liberty
for an occasion to the
flesh, but by love
serve one another.
14:For all the
law is fulfilled in
one word, even in
this; Thou shalt love
thy neighbour as
thyself.
2 Thess. 3:5-
5: And the Lord
direct your hearts into
the love of God, and
into the patient waiting
for Christ.
1 John 2:10-10:
He that loveth
his brother abideth in
the light, and there is
none occasion of
stumbling in him.
1 John 3:23 &24-
23: And this is
his commandment, That we
should believe on the
name of his Son Jesus
Christ, and love one
another, as he gave us
commandment.
24: And he that
keepeth his commandments
dwelleth in him, and he
in him. And hereby we
know that he abideth in
us, by the Spirit which
he hath given us.
1 John 5:1-5-
1: Whosoever
believeth that Jesus is
the Christ is born of
God: and every one that
loveth him that begat
loveth him also that is
begotten of him.
2: By this we
know that we love the
children of God, when we
love God, and keep his
commandments.
3: For this is
the love of God, that we
keep his commandments:
and his commandments are
not grievous.
4: For whatsoever
is born of God
overcometh the world:
and this is the victory
that overcometh the
world, even our faith.
5: Who is he that
overcometh the world,
but he that believeth
that Jesus is the Son of
God?
--------------------------------------------------
I have learned the
following: That I
have to continue to
love the Lord with
everything that I
have. Everytime that
I am hungry or thirsty
the Lord has provided
food for me to eat and
the drink for when I
thirsted. Also I
learned that if I take
food to a home or
clothes to an
individual, and visit
the sick, Jesus
reminds me, I have
done it for Him.
The most important
commandment is that
again, we should love
God with everything we
have. Also, if I
continue to love
everyone that I come
in contact with, (even
my enemies) I shall
expect nothing in
return. I have to be
kind, to the
ungrateful and the
evil and have mercy.
For Jesus is merciful.
Again, I have to love
one another as Christ
loves, by me loving as
Christ loves, I am
showing to the world I
am a disciple of Jesus
Christ. I will
continue to be loved
by God if I keep his
commandments.
Jesus will continue to
love me inspite of my
wrong doings. He will
continue to show His
love toward me, if I
abide in Him. Jesus
loves me so much, that
He took my place on
Calvary. He laid down
His own life for me.
Also being His child,
Jesus will give me
enough love to love
another. I do not owe
anyone anything except
the love of God, for
God came to fulfill
the law and has
fulfilled the law.
I love God so
therefore, if I love
God, I will want to
tell others about His
love. God loves me in
return and I am known
by God.
Everything that I do
has to be done in
love. I am to love
others as I love
myself and love God.
If I stay in the will
of God, he will direct
my heart to the Love
of God and
steadfastness of
Christ. If I continue
to abide in the light
(Jesus Christ) and God
I shall not stumble.
If I continue to abide
in Jesus and believe
in the name of his Son
I will continue to
love others and if I
continue to keep His
commandments, I will
abide in Him and
Christ in me.
I believe that Jesus
is the Christ and has
been born of God and
everyone who loves the
Father loves whoever
has been born of Him,
by this we know that
we love the children
of God, when we love
God and keep His
commandments.
For this is the love
of God, that we should
keep His commandments
"In Whom We
Have"
Ephesians 1:7-In whom
we have
redemption through his
blood, the forgiveness
of sins, according to
the riches of his
grace;
Hebrews 9:26-For
then must he often
have suffered since
the foundation of the
world: but now once in
the end of the world
hath he appeared to
put away sin by the
sacrifice of
himself.
1 Timothy 2:5-For
there is one God, and
one
mediator
between God and men,
the man Christ Jesus;
Hebrews 4:15-For
we have not an
high priest
which cannot be
touched with the
feeling of our
infirmities; but was
in all points tempted
like as we are, yet
without sin.
1 John 2:1-My
little children, these
things write I unto
you, that ye sin not.
And if any man sin,
we have an advocate
with the Father,
Jesus Christ the
righteous:
Ephesians 1:7-In
whom we have
redemption
through his blood,
the forgiveness of
sins,
according to the
riches of his grace;
Romans 5:1-5-1Therefore
being
justified by
faith, we have peace
with God through our
Lord Jesus Christ:
2By whom also
we have access by
faith into
this grace wherein we
stand, and rejoice in
hope of the glory of
God. 3And
not only so, but we
glory in tribulations
also: knowing that
tribulation worketh
patience; 4And
patience, experience;
and experience, hope:
5And hope
maketh not ashamed;
because the love of
God is shed abroad in
our hearts by the Holy
Ghost which is given
unto us.
Romans 5:2-By
whom also we have
access by faith into
this grace wherein we
stand, and rejoice in
hope of the
glory of God.
In this study or
teaching Jesus had to
remind us His children
that He was the
sacrifice for our
sin. He also reminds
us that He is the
Mediator. We have to
go through Jesus to
get to the Father.
The Father reminds us
that we have a High
Preist, and the High
Preist being Jesus
Christ, because, Jesus
Christ can not be
touched with our
inferminites, but we
(the children of God)
can go to Jesus with
our problems.
The children of God
also have access to
the Father, for when
our earthly father can
not help us with our
problems, we can pray
to our Heavenly Father
for help. The reason,
why the children of
God have access to the
Father is because,
Jesus his Son, has
redeemed us and
forgave us of our
every sin.
When we go to the Lord
in prayer and the
devil says "Yes, you
have "sinned", Jesus
reminds the devil,
that we have been
"forgiven" of that sin
and we are now
justified through
Jesus Christ. Then
Jesus Christ renews
our faith to keep
going.
The child of God has
access by faith into
the grace of God in
which the child of God
stands and rejoices in
the hope of the glory
of God.
Jewels are precious to
God
Malachi 3:17 - And they
shall be mine, saith the
LORD of hosts, in that
day when I make up my
jewels; and I will spare
them, as a man spareth
his own son that serveth
him.
Revelation 21:19 - And
the foundations of the
wall of the city were
garnished with all
manner of precious
stones. The first
foundation was jasper;
the second, sapphire;
the third, a chalcedony;
the fourth, an emerald;
Psalms 116:15 - Precious
in the sight of the LORD
is the death of his
saints.
Six things that Jewels
are to God
1. Jewels are precious
2. Jewels are costly
3. Jewels have to be
refined
4. Jewels are durable
(God knows what we can
carry)
5. Jewels are rare
(priceless) Jesus
bought me, I am
precious to God. I can
not be bought or
sold.)
6. Jewels are to be
displayed.
In this study on
Jewels I learned that
Jewels are precious,
costly and have to be
refined. Also, jewels
are durable. I
learned that Jesus
bought me and I am
precious to Him. His
children can not be
bought and sold to
anyone. Also, jewels
are rare and they are
to be displayed.
The children of God
are Heaven's jewels.
His children are
precious and of value
to God.
What Is Hope
1Corinthians 15:17-19-17:
And if Christ
be not raised, your
faith is vain; ye are
yet in your sins.18:
Then they also
which are fallen
asleep in Christ are
perished.
19: If in this
life only we
have hope in
Christ, we are of all
men most miserable.
Hope- is a blending of
expectations and
desires. Hope is the
spice of life for the
believer.
There is hope in Jesus
Christ
Listed below is a list
of things that
people put their
"hope" in: these are
known as "false
hopes".
1.
People put their hope
in others.
2.
People put their hope
in church
3.
People put their hope
in their works.
Eternal Hopes
1.
A Christian's hope is
in Jesus
2.
A Christian's hope is
Alive and Well.
3.
A Christian's hope is
in Heaven
4.
A Christian's hope
will come to a
reality.
Titus 2:13- 13:Looking
for that
blessed hope,
and the glorious
appearing of the great
God and our
Saviour Jesus Christ;
1
Corinthians 15:51&52-51:
Behold, I shew
you a mystery; We
shall not all sleep,
but we shall all be
changed,
52: In a
moment, in the
twinkling of an eye,
at the last trump: for
the trumpet shall
sound, and the dead
shall be raised
incorruptible, and we
shall be changed.
Revelation 21:4-
4: And God
shall wipe away all
tears from their eyes;
and there shall be no
more death, neither
sorrow, nor crying,
neither shall there be
any more pain: for the
former things are
passed away.
John 14:1-3-1:
Let not your
heart be troubled: ye
believe in God,
believe also in me.2:
In my
Father's house
are many mansions: if
it were not so, I
would have told you. I
go to prepare a place
for you.
3: And if I go
and prepare a place
for you, I will come
again, and receive you
unto myself; that
where I am, there ye
may be also.
Revelation 21:7-7He
that overcometh shall
inherit all things;
and I will be his God,
and he shall be my
son.
1
John 5:5-5Who
is he that overcometh
the world, but he that
believeth that Jesus
is the
Son of God?
1Corinthians 15:55-58-55:
O death, where
is thy sting? O grave,
where is thy
victory? 56:
The sting of
death is sin; and the
strength of sin is the
law.
57: But thanks
be to God, which
giveth us the victory
through our Lord Jesus
Christ.
58: Therefore,
my beloved brethren,
be ye stedfast,
unmoveable, always
abounding in the work
of the Lord, forasmuch
as ye know that your
labour is not in vain
in the Lord.
What I learned from
this study, is that if
I don't keep my eyes
on Jesus, satan can
easily and quickly
pull me into one of
his many traps, he
tries to place in my
path to get me to take
my eyes off of Jesus.
Also, I learned and
had to be reminded by
Jesus that if I keep
my eyes and hope in
Him (Jesus) He will
give me a
home in Heaven
and that will soon
come to reality
because, I am His
child.
Also, I learned in
this study on Hope
that only the work
that I do for my
Lord and Savior Jesus
Christ will be
accounted for and will
matter. The work that
I do for the Lord is
not in vain. I had to
be reminded that my
"Hope" is Alive and
Well and that my hope
is in Jesus Christ.
Twenty-three
Promises of
Psalm 91
1. You shall abide
under the
shadow of the
Almighty
(Psalm 91:1).
2. Surely He shall
deliver you from
the snare of the
fowler (Psalm
91:3).
3. Surely He shall
deliver you from
the noisome
pestilence.
4. He shall cover
you with His
feathers (Psalm
91:4).
5. His truth shall
be your shield and
buckler.
6. You shall not
be afraid of the
terror by night
(Psalm 91:5).
7. You shall not
be afraid of the
arrow that flieth
by day.
8. You shall not
be afraid of the
pestilence that
walks in darkness
(Psalm 91:6).
9. You shall not
be afraid of that
which destroys at
noonday.
10. Though 1,000
fall at your left
and 10,000 at your
right, it shall
not come near you
(Psalm 91:7).
11. Only with your
eyes will you see
the reward of the
wicked (Psalm
91:8).
12. There shall no
evil befall you
(Psalm 91:10).
13. There shall no
plague come near
your dwelling.
14. God shall give
His angels charge
over you, to keep
you in all your
ways (Psalm
91:11).
15. They shall
bear you up in
their hands, lest
you dash your foot
against a stone
(Psalm 91:12).
16. You shall
tread upon the
lion, adder, young
lion, and dragon
(Psalm 91:13).
17. God will
deliver him (Psalm
91:14,15).
18. Will set him
on high.
19. Will answer
him (Psalm 91:15).
20. Will be with
him in trouble.
21. Will honor
him.
22. Will satisfy
him with long life
(Psalm 91:16).
23. Will show him
His salvation.
Many are the
promises of God.
They cover every
known need of life,
here and hereafter,
and reveal to what
extent God has made
provision to help
man in his struggle
to overcome sin,
sickness, and Satan,
and regain the full
dominion that he
lost in Adam when he
fell. The ultimate
purpose of God in
all His present
dealings with man is
to bring him back to
the place where he
was before the fall
and purge him of all
possibility of
failing in the
future.
In this study I also
learned that God
will always keep his
promises. God's
promises are true.
Also, Jesus will be
with me in hard
times. I also
learned that if I
continue to rely on
God's promises every
thing will work out
just as the Lord
wanted it to work
out.
